Flipkart approached us with a clear, yet significant brief. They wanted recognition awards designed specifically to instantly create a sense of belonging and prestige amongst the recipients. Rather than the usual acrylic blocks, the client desired some of the more complex designs that combine high-end materials such as shiny wood and sleek metal finishes.
The trophies had to be powerful enough to showcase Flipkart's dynamic brand personality while maintaining an elegant, premium appearance worthy of the occasion. Most importantly, everything was to appear impeccable and high quality, reflecting the very high standards of the people to whom they were being given.

From Concept to Curated Experience - How We Did It
We do not believe in transactional corporate gifting at Bigsmall. We had to take care of intricate supply chains & production schedules to meet Flipkart's high standards for the final product. We worked closely with Flipkart's team to understand their design requirements, brand guidelines, and expectations for the awards.
Our in-house design team started sketching ideas of structural strength, tactile luxury and brand identity. Instead of using generic catalog templates, we prototyped several iterations, playing around with textures, weights and finishes, until the physical sample really captured the prestige and modernity of the Flipkart brand.
Transforming a digital design into a beautiful physical piece was a demonstration of commitment to workmanship and fine art.
- First, we sourced sustainable premium wood sections and carved them into smooth weighted bases to give them a grounded and refined look. We then added high-grade metal accents and used high precision cutting tools to seamlessly integrate Flipkart's unique branding elements.
- Each and every trophy was subjected to intensive quality control to ensure that this finish was pristine. The final presentation was equally important, ensuring each trophy looked premium from the moment it was unboxed.
- Every custom trophy received was placed in a custom-molded, beautiful gift box to enhance the unboxing moment and make it something to celebrate. As the winners lithely accepted their prizes, the smiles were immediate, the applause was loud, and social media was buzzing with organic praise.
